    Hello 'Sweeties', that being what our server called us from start to end. My wife and I had the lobster dinner. It was well-prepared and presented. But you can get that at practically any seafood restaurant. What made our meal special was the lemon meringue pie. A good two and a half inches of meringue atop and inch of lemon filling. Outstanding! While our service was excellent, around us diners were suffering dropped cutlery, food served not quite hot enough, etc. The thing is, nobody seemed to mind, almost as if the food was soooo good, they were willing to sacrifice a bit of fumbling service for it. We sat in the room on the right side and before the night was out we had met the two other couples dining there and we compared notes as if it were a spontaneous dinner party. I'd go back to Velma's in a second.
